Outfit Post - Monochrome

I love color (mostly red, as I'm sure you've guessed by now) but all colors are wonderful. 

I love to mix and match, pair them in different unexpected combinations...but after a while, I find myself using the same color combos over and over again.  When that happens, it's time to "cleanse my palette" with some good old neutrals. 

After a day or so of not worrying about color pairing, new combinations suddenly become clear to me again.  I'm looking forward to spending the weekend gathering color ideas to see what fun pairs I can come up with next!

Outfit Post - Gray November Day

Welcome to November..it's pretty chilly here and we have gray skies and no leaves post Hurricane Sandy, so I'm wearing my toasty warm wooly dress with nice thick tights and just to brighten things up a little, a bright red scarf :)

Outfit Post - Lillian Gish

Today I woke up with crazy hair.  CRAZZYYY.  I tried to pin curl it, but it didn't dry completely, so all I got was a puffball on my head...I figured rather than fight it, I'd use it to inspire me ;)  Chaotic hair always makes me think of Clara Bow or Lillian Gish, so I did a little Lillian inspired make up today instead of my usual red lips/rosy cheeks.  Now if only I can keep from rubbing my eyes and smearing the black liner all over my face...
