• Was on the cover of Life Magazine 5 times
• Danced with both Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly
• Listed by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 Greatest Stars of All Time
• Rita was not a natural redhead.  She had dark hair and a mediterranean look that was deemed too "exotic" by film studios.  They dyed her hair dark red and changed her last name to "Hayworth", her mother's maiden name.
• She was considered one of the two top Pin up Girls of WWII (along with Betty Grable)
• Her lips were voted Best in the World by the ALA in 1949
