I am an avid collector of all sorts of books. I read pretty much non-stop. I have books in my purse, books in my glove box, books stacked up next to my bed and under my coffee table. I read all sorts of books, but I'm especially fond of ones that combine my love of reading with my love of vintage.
Some of my favorite topics are sewing, knitting, etiquette, cooking and retro beauty tips. I have such a wealth of resources, that I was thinking about how I could share them with all of you, and I decided upon the idea to have a regular "Home Economics" feature on the blog!
Each week, I plan to cover topics that range from how to style your hair to writing thank you letters and refreshing a tired dress. I will share recipes, knitting patterns and pictures from the books with all of you and also discuss the practical application of each topic in today's society.
