Outfit Post - Mary Jane

My apologies, friends, for the slightly lackluster outfit post..I have been channeling all my creative energy into creating holiday gifts and find that it is sapping my wardrobe creativity a bit..(Confession..I did not want to take off my vintage MTV hoodie and yoga pants today..I might have cried a little.)

I'm also finding that I've put on a little "winter fluff".  I tend to crave comfort foods as the cold weather rolls in and it makes it a bit harder to throw an outfit together when some of my clothes have become a little too snug ;)

Never fear!  I have a few vacation days coming up that I will be devoting to finishing up all my holiday preparations and then I should be right as rain.

A sneak peek at a few of the new items coming to the shop with the fall launch (and some style ideas.)..Pretty Black velvet and chiffon top with a tie at the neck and a zip up the back, and a lovely a-line wine colored skirt!

Also, in the shop right now..the Red Riding Hood Necklace.  A perfect accessory!

Outfit Post - Red and Leopard

“I don't mind living in a man's world, as long as I can be a woman in it.” - Marilyn Monroe

I share these outfit posts regularly on my facebook and twitter pages, but I haven't thought to share them here until now!  I don't want to exclude any of my blog friends <3

Style It - Chessie the Cat Scarf

Today's style it features a great gift idea, The Chessie the Cat Scarf. It comes with an adorable story (Chessie was part of a promotion by the Chesapeake Railway) and it's so versatile!  Here is a great link on multiple different ways to tie a scarf (I've shared it on my facebook page as well, but it's so great, I'll share it twice!)

The first look is so cute for a weekend shopping trip! Tie the scarf around your head headband style with a messy bun, or in a bow around your neck.

The second look would be adorable for a family holiday party!  Just tie the scarf around your ponytail 50's style and wear a pretty full skirted dress :)

How would you style the Chessie the Cat scarf?
